August is proving to be a busy month! I'll be kicking it off with a gig at Harvest Gallery Wine Bar on August 2nd where I will be joined by Frank Consiglio & Bill Kwaak. Together we are one of the many incarnations of The Trailers - a spin off from Uncle Jack's Trailer. We will bring a mix of originals and cover tunes from our wide variety of musical backgrounds. This will be a virtual smorgasbord of songs that you will not want to miss . . .
Sunday August 3rd has me heading over the bridge to play a solo gig at the Rye Tavern in Plymouth. Come join me for an evening of acoustic originals and cover tunes in the newly completed outdoor bar. The food is out of this world, the bar is well stocked and features an array of signature cocktails, and the view is stunning. Hope to see you there!
Every Saturday night from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. I will be playing the s'mores bonfire at the Lighthouse Inn in West Dennis. This is my absolute favorite gig. It is family friendly, and you just can't beat the view, a view that has inspired many of the songs on my recently released CD Spark. Come enjoy an early dinner and then mosey on over to the bonfire to end the night with a delicious s'more and some local live music.
The only Saturday I will not be at the Lighthouse Inn is on Saturday, August 16, 2014. That night you'll find me celebrating my birthday round about chair 7 at West Dennis Beach. We'll be cooking out from about 5:00 - 8:00, then sticking around for the Southside Civic Association's fireworks display slated to kick off at dusk. Then, while we wait for the traffic to start moving, we'll don our sweatshirts and have a sing-along circle to close out the night. Come celebrate with me!
Wednesdays find me hosting open mic at Harvest Gallery Wine Bar in Dennis. Be sure to get there early - the list goes out at 7:00 p.m. and is often full by 7:10. Depending on how many musicians sign up, 2 or 3 song sets run from 7:30 - 10:30. PA, cords, mics & stands provided.
I will be hosting open mic at O'Shea's Olde Inne in West Dennis on Monday, August 4th & Monday, August 18th. This will kick off with the "originals-encouraged-acoustic-unplugged-around-the-trunk-singer-songwriter-circle" from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m., then we'll amplify from 8:30 - 11:30 p.m. The food is great, the pints flowing, and the atmosphere is that of an authentic pub in Ireland.
